Educational Standards, Frameworks & Skills
Pennsylvania's Standards Aligned System (PDESAS)
Pennsylvania Standards describe what students should know and be able to do; they increase in complexity and sophistication as students progress through school. Using their site, you can locate specific standards, anchors, and eligible content based on subject area and grade level or course. Resources include incorporating learning progressions, units, lesson plans, and content resources aligned to the Pennsylvania standards in curriculum frameworks for the four content areas included in the Keystone Exams (mathematics, science, social studies, reading-writing-speaking-listening). You will also find additional resources and support regarding instruction, intervention and assessments. Get yourself a login and check it out

"We believe that a child who graduates from high school without an understanding of culture, the arts, history, literature, civics, and language has in fact been left behind. So to improve education in America, we’re promoting programs, policies, and initiatives at the local, state, and federal levels that provide students with
challenging, rigorous instruction
in the full range of liberal arts and sciences."
